WEC graduates are employed by private industry, local, state, and federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, and international conservation and development agencies. Others are self-employed as consultants or work with research institutions. Many WEC students continue their education with master's or doctoral degrees in wildlife ecology or related fields, and some enter professional programs such as Veterinary Medicine.
